What are Play Pods?
 
Play Pods are metal shipping containers that have been converted to provide office / storage space with heating and lighting. You may have noticed the big green box in the garden. Play Pods provide a base for supervised, free, open access, outdoor play activities for children, out of school hours. 
 It is a chance for children to have time to play outside in the natural environment.
 
Who will be able to attend Play Pod sessions?
 
Any children aged 6 to 16 who live locally, will be able to come and play at the Pod.  Under-six's will be welcome too, so long as they are accompanied by a parent or carer.
 
 
Will there be anything to pay?
 
No, the play sessions will be free of charge.
 
 
Do I have to book?
 
No, just turn up.
 
 
Who will be running Play Pod sessions?
 
Each playsession provides a qualified play worker and at least three other staff who have all been police checked.
 
 
When will the Play Pod sessions be happening?
 
The Play POD is open every Saturday 12.00 - 1.45pm.
The Play POD is also open in the school holidays (please see group timetables for dates and times)
