A Children's Centre brings together a range of services to meet the needs of local children from birth - five years and their families. We aim to improve the health and well-being for children and young people to ensure they grow up happy, active and safe.
 
 
To achieve this we work with many professionals including, Health Visitors, Social Care, Early Years Services, Jobcentre, local schools and Colleges to provide a range of health, family support,  education and training  to meet you and your family needs.
 
 Our Centre provides the following services to children  and their families:

 

·         Parental outreach
·         Family support services
·         High quality early education combined with full day careprovision 
          for children
·         High quality teacher input to lead the development of learning
          within the centre
·         Child and family health services, including ante-natal services
·         Crèche facilities
·         A base for childminders, and other local  providers of childcare
          services
·         Effective links with Jobcentre Plus, local training providers and
          further and higher education institutions
·         Effective links with Children's Information Services andExtended
          Schools
·         Attractive community grounds and children’s play area.

NO SMOKING POLICY
 
Please note that as from the 1st September 2010 Farcliffe & Lilycroft Children & Family Centre will become a NO SMOKING SITE. This means that nobody is permitted to smoke within the boundaries of our grounds. If any visitors to the centre need a cigarette could you please go out onto Toller Lane away from our exit to smoke
